BYD ATTO 2 vs Yuan UP Parts: How to Check a Match

Is a BYD Yuan UP Part the Right Part for Your ATTO 2?

You search for an ATTO 2 replacement part and find a listing under Yuan UP. Is it the same part?

The name is a useful starting point: BYD itself identifies the Yuan UP as the ATTO 2 in its Romanian launch announcement. But the vehicle name alone cannot confirm a headlight, bumper or mirror. You still need to identify the version fitted to your car.

One Model Name, More Than One Part Reference

Our China-market supplier catalogue has separate sections headed “Yuan UP” and “Yuan UP Smart Driving”. Here are two examples of how their entries differ:

Part

Yuan UP material number

Yuan UP Smart Driving material number

Left front headlight

17019649-00

14669644-00

Front bumper upper body

17899220-00

14960279-00

These are catalogue distinctions, not a conversion chart for overseas trims. For example, BYD lists Active, Boost and Comfort in Spain, while the supplier sheet uses the Chinese headings above. We cannot identify an export part simply by calling a UK Boost or an EU Comfort car “Smart Driving”.

The supplier sheet covers Yuan UP battery-electric vehicle parts. If your car is an ATTO 2 DM-i plug-in hybrid, tell us that before any part lookup; its application needs to be checked separately.

A Practical Way to Identify the Part

Start with the number printed on the original component, if you can find it. A photo of that label is often the quickest route to the right reference. For lamps and mirrors, include a photo of the rear connector and the complete part. For body panels, show the damaged area and say exactly which panel or bracket you need.

Also send the VIN and the country where the car was sold. These details are particularly important when checking lighting and other market-specific components. A part that looks similar in a catalogue photo may have a different reference or specification.

What about Yuan PLUS parts? The similar names are not evidence that parts interchange. Compare the actual reference and vehicle details before ordering.

Send Us What You Have

You do not need to know every catalogue term. An enquiry such as this is enough to start:

“BYD ATTO 2 EV, sold in the UK. I need the left front headlight. The old-part number is [number], or I have attached photos. VIN: [VIN]. Quantity: [quantity].”

If you are unsure of the number, send the photos anyway. Whether the car is yours or belongs to a customer, email sales01@gzhella.com, message +86 18513787764 on WhatsApp, or use our contact form. We can check the reference and current sourcing options before you place an order.
